SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Hot weather at the Sacramento International Airport didn't stop Donald Trump supporters who came out in droves for a rally on Wednesday.

While the weather was hot, heads remained cool as the event remained fairly peaceful.

Trump flew in on Wednesday evening as part of his California rounds, showing love to the state's capital.

"I'm very impressed with him," said Dennis Neto of Sacramento. "He doesn't use a TelePrompTer. I was originally a Ben Carson supporter, but now that he's in I'm definitely supporting Trump."

Trump spoke on building jobs, securing the borders, helping veterans and taking jabs at Democratic rivals Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
