Homeland Security Warns Windows Users To Uninstall QuickTime

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A new warning to windows users—the government is now urging users to uninstall the QuickTime application on your computer as soon as possible.

The Department of Homeland Security issued an alert that the software will soon be vulnerable to hackers and possible exploitation.

The alert comes after Apple announced it will no longer be providing security updates for QuickTime on Windows.
