Garage Catches Fire At Modesto Home

MODESTO (CBS13) - Firefighters responded to the call of a fire at a garage in Modesto Friday night.

The fire caused extensive damage to the detached garage at the home on Laurel Avenue. When crews arrived, they found much of the structure in flames. They were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby structures, according to a fire department statement.

Damage is estimated at $25,000.
