Southbound Highway 99 closed for hours in Sacramento County after semitruck overturns
SACRAMENTO COUNTY – All southbound lanes of Highway 99 were closed for multiple hours Thursday evening after a semitruck hauling cement overturned in Sacramento County, officials say.
The crash happened on southbound Highway 99, north of Dillard Road and south of Elk Grove, sometime around 3:30 p.m. Traffic was diverted to Eschinger Road back to Grant Line Road.

The California Highway Patrol said the southbound lanes reopened around 7 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
