Highway 1 Closure From Massive Mudslide Extending To American Truck Simulator

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A massive mudslide that's closed part of the scenic Highway 1 is affecting more than just real-world drivers.

SCS Software announced a future update to the PC game American Truck Simulator will shut down the same stretch of road.

The developer promises an alternate route for players, but the virtual Highway 1 won't reopen until Caltrans crews finish work on the real Highway 1.
