Hawk Recovering After Being Shot In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A red-shouldered hawk is recovering after it was shot in Sacramento.

The hawk is now in the care of the Gold Country Wildlife Rescue.

Veterinarians removed the bullet from the bird's wing.

The person who shot the bird has reportedly been cited by the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
