Hundreds Gather To Say Goodbye To Fallen CHP Officer
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Officers from all over the state are attended Tuesday morning's memorial service for California Highway Patrol Officer Nathan Taylor.
Governor Jerry Brown was also expected to be in attendance.
Taylor was a six-year department veteran and was working to clear an accident near Castle Peak in the Truckee area on March 12 when he was struck by an SUV. Taylor died two days later from his injuries.
Last week, a procession from Reno brought Officer Taylor's body to Roseville.
The service took place Hillside Christian Church in Roseville and was open to the public.
