Giants' Hunter Pence Offering Signed Bobblehead For Return Of Stolen Scooter

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The motorized scooter that San Francisco Giants right fielder Hunter Pence rides to home games has been stolen.

Pence says somebody stole the scooter outside a restaurant on San Francisco's Embarcadero on Sunday night. He rode a backup scooter he had to push the final few steps into the clubhouse to Monday's game against the Chicago Cubs.

Pence says he did not file a police report. He says he's willing to forgive the culprit, offering a signed bobblehead if the scooter is returned. Pence says the scooter is one of the few possessions he cares about, calling it "kind of an extension of me."

The scooter has fascinated fans since Pence arrived in a trade from Philadelphia in 2012. The Giants even gave out bobblehead dolls of Pence on the scooter earlier this season.
