Gas Leak In Rio Vista Forces Evacuations

RIO VISTA (CBS13) — A gas leak has forced the evacuation of a neighborhood.
The gas leak was discovered in the area of 300 Center Street.
The area around the leak has been evacuated as PG&E crews work to repair it.
The leak was caused by a construction crew digging that hit a two-inch plastic service main line. The call came just before 2 p.m.
The line is expected to be capped by 4 p.m., but crews will remain into the evening for more repairs.
