Galt medical facility employee arrested after investigation into alleged sexual assaults, elder abuse
GALT – A Stockton man is under arrest after an investigation into alleged sexual assaults and elder abuse at a Galt medical facility.
Galt police say they started investigating the 100 block of F Street facility after patients came forward and reported being sexually assaulted by an employee.
With statements from the patients and other corroborating evidence, police say the suspect was identified as 23-year-old Justin Atkinson.
The facility immediately suspended Atkinson after he was identified.
Then, on Tuesday, Atkinson was arrested by Galt police on multiple felony charges.
Detectives are urging anyone with further information that may relate to the case to contact Galt police.
