Suspicious Package Prompts Precautionary Lockdown At Galt High School

GALT (CBS13) - A suspicious gift put Galt High School on precautionary lockdown Wednesday morning.

Galt Police say a suspicious gift-wrapped package left on campus prompted the lockdown.

An explosive ordinance disposal crew from Sacramento County was called to the scene to deal with the package.

Authorities cleared the scene and reopened the campus by 10:15 a.m.
