Crews Battled Commercial Fire At Building On Freeport Boulevard

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Firefighters battled flames at a commercial building in south Sacramento Wednesday.

The scene is along the 6600 block of Freeport Boulevard, near the Sacramento Executive Airport.

Sacramento Fire Captian Keith Wade said it appeared that the older style construction of the building did not follow the fire safety codes like newer buildings.

Firefighters remained on the scene for several hours to prevent any flare-ups.
