Flu Claims First Calaveras And Plumas Counties This Season

The flu has claimed the life of its first victim in Plumas County. Health officials say the senior passed away last week after being hospitalized from influenza.

Calaveras County is also reporting its first flu death this season.

So far this flu season 24 people have died from the deadly virus in Sacramento County.
