First Trailer For New 'Star Wars' Movie Released

Without any need for explanation, here's the first official trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

The film is scheduled to be released in December 2015 -- more than a year from now.

Not much is explained in the way of plot in the trailer, but we do get a glimpse of some familiar "Star Wars" universe items -- like X-Wings, Stormtroopers, Tie Fighters and even the Millennium Falcon.
