Firefighters Stop Vegetation Fire Near North Auburn

NORTH AUBURN (CBS13) — Crews worked quickly to stop a vegetation fire from spreading in North Auburn on Monday morning.

The fire was on Iron Mine at Christian Valley Road.

Cal Fire crews responded quick moved fast to stop the forward progress of the flames. The fire was contained to about a half-acre.

Exactly what started the fire, which burned in grass and oak woodland, is under investigation.
