Firefighters Battling 2-Alarm Blaze Off Highway 160 In North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Firefighters are battling a two-alarm fire in North Sacramento early Tuesday afternoon.

The scene is off Highway 160 and Northgate Boulevard.

Sacramento Fire has crews at the scene. A second-alarm has been called.

Firefighters estimate the size of the blaze to be six acres. A helicopter from the Sacramento Metro Fire Department is helping.

No road closures appear to be in effect at the moment, but heavy smoke can be seen coming from the area.
