Fire Spreads Throughout Citrus Heights Home
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) - Firefighters are investigating the cause of a Citrus Heights house fire on Tuesday morning.
The home is in the 7700 block of Ziebell Court near old Auburn Road. At 6:30 a.m. Sacramento Metro Fire Department firefighters arrived at home and found flames coming from the garage, which was open because the homeowner already left and called 911.
Another crew went around the backside of the home and saw flames had spread to that area as well.
The home is so damaged that it could be months before the home is once again in habitable.
