Fire At Arden-Arcade Garage Called Suspicious
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Investigators are calling a fire that ripped through an Arden-Arcade area garage suspicious.
Fire crews showed up to the scene, near Fulton Avenue and Sierra Boulevard, just after 10 p.m. after Metro Fire got a report about smoke and flames coming from a garage. Two structures were quickly going up in smoke, fire crews found.
Part of the garage collapsed due to the intensity of the fire, so fire crews decided to focus their efforts on saving the home.
Metro Fire says that their crews were able to save $450,000 in property. Damage estimates are coming in at about $200,000.
Investigators at the scene believe that the fire is suspicious in nature. No one was hurt in the fire.
