Fellow Soldiers Named As Persons Of Interest In Missing Yuba City Woman Case

YUBA CITY (CBS13) — Two soldiers have been named as persons of interest in the disappearance of a Yuba City soldier in Kentucky.

Shadow McClaine, 25, has been missing for nearly two months after disappearing from Fort Campbell.

Family members held a vigil for McClain, who was originally supposed to be discharged from the army on Oct. 11. Her car was found in a parking lot in downtown Nashville in September, but there haven't been any other clues.

"There is away so that glimmer of hope she is being held by someone but the reality is we don't know what condition she is in we just want to bring her home, we just can't leave her here," said her grandmother, Connie McClaine.

The names of the soldiers who were taken into custody haven't been released.

Her ex-husband, Jamal McCray was arrested earlier this month and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on out-of-county warrants, but it's unknown if he's being investigated in connection to her disappearance.

McClaine disappeared after telling family she was house sitting for a friend in Kentucky on Sept. 2, but since then her phone has been turned off and there has been no activity on her bank account.
