Interstate 80 Reopens After Fatal Motorcycle Crash

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A fatal accident brought traffic to a near standstill on Interstate 80.

The collision between a big rig and a motorcycle happened on Wednesday afternoon on eastbound Interstate 80 just west of Northgate Boulevard.

The California Highway Patrol says the driver of the motorcycle has died from injuries sustained in the crash.
