Big Rig Crash Involving 2 Other Vehicles Closes Highway 16 In Yolo County

YOLO COUNTY (CBS13) - Highway 16 in Yolo County was closed this morning after a deadly accident involving several vehicles and a big rig.

The incident happened on Highway 16, east of Interstate 505 in Yolo County on Monday morning. At least one person died from the crash.

A CHP spokesperson tells CBS13 at least one car sideswiped a big rig, which caused the big rig to hit a car, running off the road and into a power pole. The big right then overturned.

Several people were involved in the accident were transported to local hospitals.

The condition of the remaining crash victims is unknown.

CHP have not said what caused the first car to collide with the truck.
