Fans Test Their Skills In Super Bowl City

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS13) — Fans coming to Super Bowl City have plenty of family friendly activities to choose from.

The favorite by far is the Quarterback Challenge, which gives fans a chance to channel their inner Peyton Manning or Cam Newton.

"It looks like you're right in the game. It looks like you and see and try and get them on target," said Ethan Daley.

A chance to experience Super Bowl City may have meant missing a day at school for the 12-year-old. But it was a quick lesson in the challenges quarterbacks face on the field.

Even skeptics change their tune after giving the interactive goggles a go.

"I actually thought I was a real quarterback. Everything was just so fast and everything was just right in my face. It was better than I thought," said Naz Batta of Carmichael.

Batta and longtime friend Ali Nassirian are on sensory overload as they navigate Super Bowl City.

"I'm kind of anxious, I have butterflies as if I'm playing in the game. So it's fun being out here," Nassirian said.

Their first stop was to test their rhythm at the interactive Red Zone Dance.

"I'm definitely no Odell Beckham Jr.," Batta said.
