Fallen CHP Officer Lucas Chellew Honored In Memorial Service

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) -- Hundreds came out in honor of fallen CHP officer Lucas Chellew. A memorial service was held Saturday morning in Roseville to recognize the eight-year veteran of the force.

Chellew died in the line of duty and law enforcement agencies from across the country attended the service to par their respects.

His fellow officers remembered him as passionate, funny and someone who never gave up.

Officer Chellew leaves behind his wife, a 6-year-old son and an 18-month-old daughter.
