Fairfield Police Officer Crashes Car Into Tree While Responding To Call

FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — A Fairfield Police officer is being treated for injuries after the officer's patrol car crashed into a tree.

The officer was responding as backup to another incident before the crash.

Eastbound Air Base Parkway at Dover Avenue was closed during rush hour on Monday after the crash.
