Antelope Woman's Ex-Boyfriend Being Sought In Connection To Her Death

ANTELOPE (CBS13) - Sheriff's deputies have identified a man wanted in connection with the murder of an Antelope woman on Wednesday night.

Gildardo Ramos, 37, of Sacramento is accused of shooting Jessica Chavez in the head as she was walking from her vehicle to her home.

Just after 11 p.m. on November 23, dispatchers received reports of gunshots in the 4200 block of Hartlepool Way in Antelope. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a Chavez with a gunshot wound to the head.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by Metro Fire officials.

Ramos is said to be Chavez's ex-boyfriend. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
