Man Detained After Barricading Himself Inside Foothill Farms Complex

FOOTHILL FARMS (CBS13) — Some residents at a Foothill Farms apartment complex were evacuated due to a SWAT situation Tuesday evening.

The Sacrament County Sheriff's Office said SWAT was called out after a man barricaded himself in a unit on the 4100 block of Palm Avenue.

It's not clear the suspect has barricaded himself. Officials say he violated his Post Release Community Supervision.

The suspect was detained just before 9 p.m.
