Escaped Nevada Inmate Recaptured In Yolo County

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - A northern Nevada inmate has been recaptured near Sacremento, California after walking away from a work crew six days ago.

The Nevada Department of Corrections said 37-year-old Michael David Lillie was recaptured early Tuesday after disappearing from downtown Carson City on May 11.

The man was arrested in Woodland, California, about 150 miles away.

He's being held at the Yolo County Jail and faces a misdemeanor charge of false representation to a police officer.

Nevada authorities said Lillie will also face two to six years for the escape.

He was serving up to 10 years in prison for felony drunk driving.

Lillie had been paroled once, violated that parole and was serving time at Stewart Conservation Camp.
