Mule Creek State Prison Inmate Captured In Merced

IONE (CBS13) — An escaped inmate is back behind bars.

Zechariah Lee walked away from Mule Creek State Prison on February 7.

ALSO: Shooting At State Prison In Tracy

Police apprehended him last night at a gas station in the Merced area.

Lee was serving a three-year sentence for first-degree robbery in Sacramento.

The Amador County District Attorney's Office will consider additional charges.
