Employee Shoots Man Inside Sacramento Strip Club

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police say an employee at a Sacramento strip club shot a suspected intruder early Wednesday morning.

The scene is at Club Fantasy along Richards Boulevard.

Officers showed up at the scene just before 5 a.m. after a reported shooting that seriously injured one man. He has since been taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators learned that an alarm at the club had gone off, prompting an employee to show up. The employee then fired shots at someone they spotted inside the building.

The investigation has part of westbound Richards Boulevard closed in the area.
