Driver Crashes Into Stairs At West Sacramento Building

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A West Sacramento business was badly damaged after a car slams into a stairwell at the building.

The incident happened early Monday morning at West Sac Sew & Vac on Jefferson Boulevard and Drever Street.

How the car hit the building and whether or not the driver was under the influence is still unknown.

Since several people live above the business, a building official will come out to make sure the structure is structurally sound.

One person was taken to the hospital to be treated.
