DraftExpress.com's Mike Schmitz: NBA Draft and Kings Pick Nik Stauskas
DraftExpress.com's Mike Schmitz joins Deuce and Jason Ross to talk about last nights NBA draft. They start off talking about the Kings pick Nik Stauskas and what he brings to Sacramento.
Schmitz talks about his athleticism and why he will work in Sacramento. "He was one of the best players on the board," Schmitz said. He also talked about Stauskas's ball handling improving from year one to year two tremendously while at Michigan.
"I think he is the best shooter in the draft based on his overall shooting," Schmitz said. He talks about him coming off ball screens and shooting off the dribble and says his defense will never be the best but he just needs to keep putting in the work.
He talks about the biggest surprises of the draft and says for the most part a lot of the picks seemed fairly standard.
