Downtown Sacramento Hotel May Be Converted Into Apartments

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A Downtown Sacramento hotel may soon be converted to apartments.
The owners of the Holiday Inn Express on 16th Street have filed plans with the city to redevelop the four-story building into multi-family housing.
Hotel rooms would become a mixture of one and two-bedroom units, along with studio apartments.
An outdoor recreation area with fire pits and a fenced-in dog part is also part of the renovation plans.
