Car Crashes Into Downtown Sacramento Building

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Police are investigating after a car crashed into a Downtown Sacramento building early Tuesday morning.
The scene is near J and 4th streets at the Imperial Tower Apartments building.
Exactly what led up to the crash, which happened just before 5:30 a.m., is unclear. A ground-level section of the building was struck.
Sacramento police say the driver took off before officers arrived.
A search is now on for that driver.
