Downtown Sacramento Bank Robbery Suspect Sought
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento Police Department has released surveillance footage of a man who tried to rob a downtown bank last Friday.
Police say that the man walked into the Chase Bank along the 800 block of K Street around 9:45 a.m. and gave a teller a demand note. No money was handed over, however, and the man abruptly walked out, but not before he was caught on camera.
The suspect is described as an East Indian man standing about 5'7'' tall. He also had a beard at the time of the attempted robbery.
