Man who died after going missing at Donner Lake identified

The man who died after going missing from Donner Lake on Friday afternoon has been identified.

The Truckee Police Department responded to the lake shortly after noon when they received reports of a possible drowning on the west end of Donner Lake. 

Police said the man's remains were found about 140 feet underwater. 

Officials said he was last seen on an inner tube and was not wearing a life jacket. 

The Nevada County Sheriff's Office identified him as 67-year-old David Steven Sabo of Scotts Valley.
