Doll Head Mistaken For Body In Vacaville Canal
VACAVILLE (CBS13) – Divers pulled a life-sized doll head out of a canal Thursday evening.
The Vacaville Police Department says a group of teens reported seeing what looked like a body in the Putah Creek Canal behind Sansome Court. Crews couldn't tell if it was a body or not, so a dive team was called to go into the murky water.
A life-sized doll head was soon pulled out of the water.
Even with the incident being a false alarm, police say they are thankful to the teens who reported it.
