Doctor Who Tried To Save Man's Life Testifies In Deadly Carmichael Hit-And-Run Case

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) — A doctor who fought to save the life of a man in a deadly hit-and-run accident testified in court on Tuesday.

Paul Walden is facing second-degree murder charges and felony hit-and-run in the 2012 crash that killed Harrison Long-Randall and injured his girlfriend and their four dogs in Carmichael.

Initially Long-Randall survived and had his leg amputated. But a number of traumatic injuries and internal bleeding caused him to die days later.

Walden will be back in court on tomorrow morning.
