Man Stabbed To Death After Argument In North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are investigating after an argument escalated into a fight that left one man fatally stabbed.

The scene was along Dixieanne Avenue, near Winner's Circle Park.

Sacramento police say officers responded to the scene just before 5:30 a.m. Monday to investigate a reported stabbing. At the scene, officers found a man who had suffered a life-threatening stab wound.

That man was taken to the hospital by medics, but he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators say some sort of argument preceded the fatal stabbing. The man and the suspect appear to have known each other.

Police say they believe the incident is isolated and they're not looking for any more suspects.
