Detectives: Suspect In Riverbank Murder Arrested At Turlock Walmart

RIVERBANK (CBS13) – Authorities say they have arrested they suspect wanted for the August murder of a man in Riverbank.

According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, 33-year-old Riverbank resident Issac Vaughn was arrested Wednesday night for the murder of 59-year-old Jesus Quintana. Vaughn has been booked on a charge of murder at the Stanislaus County Jail.

Detectives say that Quintana was killed after some sort of fight with Vaughn back on Aug. 5. The incident happened along the 3700 block of Texas Avenue in Riverbank.

Authorities have not identified how Quintana was killed.

An arrest warrant had been issued for Vaughn, but he wasn't located until Wednesday when an anonymous caller reported seeing him at the Walmart along Geer Road in Turlock.

Vaughn was arrested as he walked out of the store, detectives say.
