Detectives: 3 Central California Men Filmed Themselves Stabbing Man To Death

MERCED, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say they have arrested three men in Central California suspected of tying up a man, stabbing him to death and recording it with a cellphone video camera.

Investigators for the Merced County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that the men dumped the body in an orchard where they burned it.

Authorities tell the Merced Sun-Star newspaper that the victim was drinking at a home with the three others when an argument erupted.

They say that an ex-girlfriend of one of the men saw the video taken Saturday night and reported it.

Authorities say they arrested the three men, and one of them led investigators to the body.

Investigators say they found evidence of the killing at the home, and they are searching the men's phones for the video.
