Deputies: Body Discovered In Front Yard Of Nevada City Home

NEVADA CITY (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating after a body was found in the front yard of a Nevada City home.

The scene is along the 16000 block of Countrywood Lane. The Nevada County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to the scene on Monday and found a body.

Deputies say the body was partially covered. Detectives believe the body had been out there for several days.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide due to unspecified observations made by detectives. The home and surrounding property have been combed for evidence.
