Delta College Professor Still Recovering From Violent Bathroom Robbery

STOCKTON (CBS13) - A college professor is still trying to recover from a violent robbery that took place inside a campus bathroom.

The incident happened back on March 9. Police say a woman suspect entered the Holt building's first floor woman's restroom on the San Joaquin Delta College campus and slammed a victim against the wall. She then demanded the victim to give up her jewelry.

Surveillance footage (seen above) captured the suspect just as she was walking into the area.

Tuesday, Delta College police revealed that the victim is a professor at the school. The professor is still in the hospital being treated for a head injury from the attack.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information in the case. Anyone with information on who the suspect might be is asked to call police at (209) 954-5000.
