Deadly Crash Blocks Traffic In North Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A one-car accident that killed the driver had a stretch of Norwood Avenue blocked off early Wednesday morning.
The scene was along Norwood Avenue between Fairbanks Avenue and Ford Road.
Police say that just after 2 a.m., a driver heading south on Norwood lost control of his car and hit a street light then a tree. The driver, who was the only person in the car, was killed in the crash.

Both directions of Norwood were taped off between Fairbanks and Ford for the investigation.
Police reopened the roadway just after 7 a.m.
