Body Found Lying In Rio Linda Road

RIO LINDA (CBS13) - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a body found in the road early Monday morning.

Officers were called out to Elkhorn Boulevard and 20th Street in Rio Linda around 4 a.m. after the body was found.

At first, investigators first thought the person had been hit by a car, but now say that may not be the case.

The area was closed to traffic.
