Davis Man Accused Of Severely Injuring 7-Week-Old Son

DAVIS (CBS13) — A father has been arrested for allegedly abusing his 7-week-old son, Davis Police said on Friday.

Victor Duarte Briones, 36 of Davis, was arrested after police say his 7-week-old son had severe head trauma while under his father's care.

The child was moved from Sutter Davis Hospital to the UC Davis Medical Center intensive care unit.

Briones bail is set at $500,000.
