DAVIS – Officers are investigating at least two cases of people being robbed right after they visited ATMs in the downtown Davis area recently.

Davis police say they've received the reports over the past two weeks, with both cases happening in the evening.

The first incident saw multiple suspects attack the victim, police say, while the second incident had a person get threatened by a suspect with a sharp object.

It's unclear if both cases are related.

No suspect descriptions have been released at this point in the investigation.

Officers are urging residents to be aware of their surroundings when using an ATM.
