Davis Considering Moratorium On Nightclubs After Fatal Stabbing

DAVIS (CBS13) - The city of Davis is considering a nightclub moratorium in an attempt to keep the city safe.

The 45-day city-wide moratorium would be on the expansion of any business selling alcohol. This comes on the heels of a fatal stabbing that triggered a community discussion about alcohol and nightclubs.

The city council will discuss the ordinance Tuesday. If it passes, the ordinance will go into effect immediately and last through November 13.
