Crews Searching For 2 Missing Teens In Waters Off San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Rescuers are searching for two teenage boys who were swept out to sea while playing in the surf at San Francisco's Ocean Beach.

Coast Guard spokesman Adam Stanton says witnesses reported seeing four people playing in the surf Saturday afternoon at the beach near Lincoln Way. He said two people in the group, described as 17-year-old boys, were in the water up to their waists when they were swept away.

The other two returned to shore.

Stanton said the Coast Guard dispatched two lifeboats and a helicopter to search for the boys.
