Crews Rescue Homeless Man Stuck In Trash Compactor
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – A homeless man is safe after nearly being crushed in a gigantic trash compactor.
Metro Fire crews say he was heard screaming Sunday morning.

The garbage crew heard him just in time and put down the container behind a business along the 5400 block of Date Avenue.
Crews responded to the scene to help get the man out. Metro Fire says the man was rescued and released without getting injured.

The man says he was just looking for a place to sleep.
