Crews Extinguish 15-Acre Fire At Lincoln Airport

LINCOLN (CBS13) – Firefighters battled a 15-acre grass fire at the Lincoln airport on Thursday.

The Lincoln Fire department said forward progress of the two-alarm fire was stopped a little before 12:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire officials said the fire was mostly extinguished with a few hot spots still being put out.
